The company was founded as a smithy by Ivar Kjaergaard in 1923 and was taken over by his son Kristian Kjaergaard in 1965. In the middle of 1997 Ejner Lindblad took over the company as part of a generational change. Since the foundation in 1923 Kjaergaard Maskinfabrik has been situated in the small town Hoven in West Jutland.    In a modern fish farm operational safety and working environment are crucial which makes high demands on the production equipment. This is why all products are tested before the leave Kjaergaard Maskinfabrik. Today the company is also represented abroad i.e. in Norway and Chile where sales are handled by competent dealers. Production takes place in a 400 square metre production area with appropriate ceiling height. The production machinery consists of a versatile machine park which enables us to perform almost every work function on our products ourselves without the use of sub-suppliers. If you have special demands you are welcome to contact us.
