Cedervall stern-tube seals are widely recognized for their operating economy, technical reliability and service. For more than a century Cedervall has been protectionally aware of the marine environment. Our unique design of stern-tube seals practically eliminated oil leakage way back in the 1880's. We have continued building on this innovation. Since Cedervall introduced the first seal for propeller shafts there have been several improving modifications to the original concept.
