The Association of Fishermen of Puerto Madryn (APAPM) groups from 1993 to coastal collectors, store owners, heirs of coastal shellfish divers and longliners.
The fishing activity takes place in San José gulfs, Nuevo and San Matias, Patagonia Argentina, involving about 200 people as direct labor and creating jobs in the processing of products for other 200 people.
The aims and objectives of our organization are reflected in the Statute:
-To promote the spirit of solidarity and mutual assistance among its members to meet the needs of them.
-Create goals for the common good through mechanisms such as studying and addressing matters related to health in the workplace, promoting and disseminating the achievements in order to establish a steady job with better living conditions.
-Find more technical training, encouraging partners to everyone from her job, assume their rights and obligations.
-To provide effective representation of the artisanal sector of fisheries to the national, provincial and / or municipalities.
