The Self Service Restaurant "PesceAzzurro" was born as an initiative of the Cooperative Fishermen "Coomarpesca" aimed at improving and enhancing all the activities of the navy Fano by promoting cognitive, gastronomic and commercial bluefish. The blue fish was eaten by always in Fano. It was the "fish" by definition, is around the "touch-hole" of fishing vessels, on the tables of families Fano, rich and poor, the old town, the harbor, the suburbs. We are at the end of the seventies, when it was decided to revive the fishing in Fano, relying more on a product of old and new at the same time: "blue fish".

l Ristorante Self Service “PesceAzzurro” nasce come iniziativa della Cooperativa Pescatori “Coomarpesca” finalizzata a migliorare e valorizzare tutte le attività della marineria fanese attraverso la promozione conoscitiva, gastronomica e commerciale del pesce azzurro. Il pesce azzurro è stato mangiato da sempre a Fano. Era il “pesce” per antonomasia, sia intorno al “focone” dei pescherecci, che sulle tavole delle famiglie fanesi, ricche e povere, del centro storico, del porto, dei quartieri periferici. Siamo sul finire degli anni settanta quando si decise, per rilanciare la pesca a Fano, di puntare maggiormente su un prodotto vecchio e nuovo allo stesso tempo: “il pesce azzurro”.
Nel futuro la Direzione PesceAzzurro ha in mente di aprire altri punti, probabilmente ancora con la gestione diretta, ma in prospettiva si pensa soprattutto alla organizzazione di una vasta diffusione con contratti di affiliazione in franchising.
