...is named after our Salmon Farm, located in the pure waters of Big Glory Bay, Rakiura - Stewart Island, producing some of the finest Pacific-King salmon. Contained in cages made of netting, the salmon are safe from harm in a remote natural environment, the location ensures a constant supply of clean sea water fed from Antarctic souther-ocean currents. Tidal movement helps keep the cages clean and continually changes the water the salmon live in.
King Salmon (Oncorhynchus tshawytscha) is farmed in the cold, oxygen rich waters of Southern New Zealand.
We use this species for it's rich marbled texture and it's higher Omega 3 content. This ensures the end product is in better condition and provides more Omega 3 than any other seafood.
