Agritec Americas Corp was founded in 1977 by 3 brothers: Ralph, Albert and Frank Pope. We have operated continuously since then, specializing in the import, export and trading of frozen seafood. Our business is conducted from our headquarters in Providence, Rhode Island. We specialize in worldwide trade of frozen bait and seafood products for human consumption that are mainly produced in United States, Canadian and Mexican waters. We also have strategic trading partners in Uruguay, Argentina, Chile, Peru, Ecuador, New Zealand, Russia, Scandinavia, Korea, Taiwan and China.



Our primary sales volume is in small pelagic fish species such as mackerel, sardines, anchovies and herring. We additionally offer squid, salmon, tuna, cod, haddock, halibut. hake, sea bass/patagonian toothfish, ribbonfish, dogfish and skates. We also also offer a multitude of shellfish including cold and warm water lobsters, crab, whelk, scallops, clams and shrimp. Many of the producers that we are affiliated with emphasize sustainable fishing practices and have products that are MSC certified. At Agritec Americas Corp, we place great value on the importance of biological and ecological conservation as well as on cultural preservation of fishing communities.
