We are hereby inform that a decision has been taken to spin off the area of business activity concerning the processing of salmon from Skagerak Fiskeeksport A/S into a separate company with effect from 1 January 2008.
As is the case for Skagerak Fiskeeksport A/S, the company is a 100%-owned subsidiary of Skagerak Holding A/S.
Splitting off this business activity into a separate company is motivated by the wish to have a clear economic distinction between the different areas of activity within the group.
Our level of activity in the processing of salmon has been increasing rapidly during recent years; it has therefore been decided that 2008 will see the investment of large amounts of money in both innovative technology/processes and production facilities.
