Foundation Fisheries Forum West (FFV) is a marine member organization whose main role is to contribute to increased collaboration between government, industry, and research and education institutions in order to strengthen the marine industry in the western region.
Foundation is also a policy decision on Bergen and Hordaland County on issues affecting marine industrial policy. Fisheries Forum West will initiate and coordinate actions that contribute to increased value for the marine industry players and research in the western region, and also be a driving force both nationally and internationally on issues in the growth, development, innovation, cooperation and exchange of information concerning the seafood industry in the region.
Fisheries Forum West collaborates with Norwegian Seafood Centre in research and development projects between industry and research communities.

Stiftelsen Fiskeriforum Vest (FFV) er en marin medlemsorganisasjon som har som sin viktigste rolle å bidra til økt samhandling mellom myndigheter, næringsliv og forsknings og utdanningsmiljøene for å styrke marin næringsutvikling i Vestlandsregionen.
Stiftelsen er også et policyorgan for Bergen kommune og Hordaland fylkeskommune på saker som angår marin næringspolitikk.
Fiskeriforum Vest skal initiere og koordinere tiltak som bidrar til økt verdiskapning for de marine næringsaktører og forskningsmiljøer i Vestlandsregionen, og samtidig være en pådriver både nasjonalt og internasjonalt i saker innenfor vekst, utvikling, nyskapning, samarbeid og informasjonsutveksling som angår sjømatnæringen i landsdelen.
