The origin of the Uetersen Maschinenfabrik lies in the HATLAPA Uetersener Maschinenfabrik, founded in 1919. With the acquisition by the Finnish Cargotec Group and the subsequent outsourcing of production, the current Uetersener Maschinenfabrik was created in 2017. Due to the many years of experience of the employees, in-house skills and qualified training, we offer you as a system supplier the necessary know-how in the field of mechanical engineering, machining, hydraulics and assembly. With a production area of 7,000 m², our 85-strong company specializes in the production of machine components of all kinds, as well as services in the field of assembly and steel construction. Here we are responsible for the entire processing process including the management of processes at our cooperation partners. We support your production in the event of bottlenecks or as a long-term partner with our modern production and assembly. We want to be a strategic partner for the production of complex components. We offer the complete organization and coordination of all necessary processes such as procurement, production, assembly and international shipping logistics. Through a close cooperation with international classification societies (DNV GL, CCS, LRS, ABS, etc.) we are able to carry out inspections at our premises.
